management
Our villa overseer, Ketut, is very capable and will handle any immediate needs.
He is assisted when required by a Western manager.
cook
Meals are prepared as required. Breakfast is included in tariff. The cost
of food for lunch and dinner is not included but will be purchased at cost
price to you by the cook with receipts provided.
driver
Tariff includes a 7 seater, current model vehicle and English speaking driver
for 8 hours a day. Our driver has an excellent knowledge of Bali's best tourist
venues, restaurant and shopping areas. If you wish to use your driver for
longer than 8 hours for a direct payment he may be happy to oblige. Please
provide him with money as required for petrol.
maids
The rooms are serviced twice daily including an evening turn down and fresh
towels.
gardener/ pool attendant
Tropical gardens need daily care these and the pool are cared for by the gardener.
masseuses
We have excellent masseuses on call. On average an hour massage is around
USD10.
security
Our village is extremely safe and secure. A night watchman is employed to
ensure that if you have concerns during the night they can be promptly attended
to.
gratuities
Balinese custom suggests a minimum service tip of 100,000rp (approx. USD10)
for each staff member per stay. If you feel you would like to give more to
a particular staff member please do so discreetly.
telephone
If you bring your own mobile, a local SIM card that includes calls can be
purchased for a nominal amount from local outlets. The villa mobile phone
can be made available on provision of a refundable deposit, in addition there
will be a phone card (which includes calls) provided at cost to you.
